I was a little disappointed to see the amount of siding that was unusable. Unfortunately you can not determine the amount of unusable product until you unwrap each bundle... and usually that occurs well into a project and beyond the required notification period. Boards with knot holes only (no knot)and gouges were commonly found. Some other boards were split. The supplier should either perform a higher level of QA/QC or notify the buyer that a XX percentage of the product will be delivered in an unusable condition. Without considering the impact to cost, this would at least allow the buyer to purchase the correct amount of usualable material for the project.

Very nice siding. Haven`t installed it yet, but I inspected all 80 bundles while unloading and stacking, and it all looked great. It`s acclimating right now, will install it next month.
