Q. Are StoneWorks Panels simulated stone?
A. Yes. StoneWorks Panels have 4-5 molds combined with random coloration to give the look of authentic random stone. It is recommended that time is spent to layout your panel design to give the look you are trying to achieve.

Q. How easy is StoneWorks Panels to install?
A. Anyone who installs siding products or has basic carpentry knowledge can easily install StoneWorks Panels. StoneWorks Panels is a mortar-free product that can be easily installed with one or two people using basic hand or power tools. We recommend a combination of glue that is compatible to foam and fasteners that would be supplied by your local hardware store, home center or lumber yard. See our installation guide for further detail. There is no need to call a mason.

Q. What preparation and sub-straight is needed to install StoneWorks Panels?
A. StoneWorks Panels only requires a clean, dry sub-straight, such as OSB, plywood, concrete, or existing siding providing the surface is flat such as RB&B, Textured 1-11 or any hardboard panel siding.

Q. What sizes are available?
A. StoneWorks Panels Dimensions:

Panels: 1' x 4' (exposed face covers approx. 3.5 square feet)

Corners: 10.5” / 4.5” x 24” (these are alternating corners)

Our accessories as well are molded from authentic stone or brick to give the authentic look you are seeking.  

Ledger: 3” x 3.25” x 48” (used to trim the tops of the panels)

Trim: 1.5” x 3.5” x 48” (used to frame out windows, doors, etc.)

Q. Are StoneWorks Panels easy to clean?
A. StoneWorks Panels may be easily cleaned with a standard garden hose.

Q. Does the product have an R value?
A. Yes. StoneWorks Panels provides a significant insulation value to all applications. Our panels are made from a high density two part polyurethane foam which provides an R value of 3.6 per inch or greater.

Q. What does the product weigh?
A. StoneWorks Panels weigh approximately one to one and a half pounds per square foot making it easy for one person to handle and install, also eliminating the need for lift equipment and extra labor.

Q. What applications would be best suited for StoneWorks Panels?

A. StoneWorks Panels is perfect for commercial, industrial or residential, exterior applications. Check with local building codes for interior usage for fire code requirements. StoneWorks Panels are unrated. Class 1 panels are available with a minimum requirement of 2500 square feet at an additional cost and extended lead times.

Q. What maintenance is required?
A. StoneWorks Panels requires no maintenance. To protect them from household machinery it is best to plan your landscaping approx 6” away from our product to prevent damage from lawn mowers or weed-wackers. 

Q. Do I have to waterproof StoneWorks Panels?
A. No. StoneWorks Panels quality is not affected by moisture or salt water.

Q. Will StoneWorks Panels fade?
A. No. StoneWorks Panels combines UV stable pigmentation, along with an advanced coloration process, which allows the product to maintain its color integrity.
